Innocenti & Webel, in collaboration with CooperCary Architects designed a major water feature which is the centerpiece of the RiverPlace development in the heart of downtown Greenville, SC. The water feature is a system of waterfalls and pools bisected by a public staircase, dropping over 20’ from a hotel entrance plaza, to intermediate dining terraces, and terminating in a public interactive play fountain at the River Walk. We also developed plans for the River Walk, a public promenade along the Reedy River connecting to the redeveloped Reedy River Falls Park on one end and the future extension of the park system/greenway to the west.
